I just heard from from lighting app developer Andrew Derrington that he as just released an update to his iPhone app, Lighting Handbook to version 1.1. Here are some of the updates found in version 1.1.

  • The interface has had a bit of a lift and a redesign to make it easier and cleaner to view.
  • Increased total fixture count to over 350, and also included a few new manufacturers.
  • Dimmers have now been included from Avolites, ETC, Light Processor & Zero 88 (more will follow in future versions)
  • A few new connector pinout diagrams and information.
  • Possibly the biggest part of Version 1.1 is the ability to save manuals for offline viewing.
  • And of coarse a few memory management and bug fixes.Version 1.1 is still only £2.99 / €3.99 or $4.99 and all updates are free. You can download or update your copy of Lighting Handbook through the iTunes App Store.
