Elation Professional recently announced their latest control product, Emulation Control Software. Elation is making the case that the Emulation software is “User Friendly” claiming that the software is easy to use and you spend leas time learning the software and more time programing you lights.

Cuelux Announces Linux Version of Control Software

There is a certain bread of computer users that hate both Windows and Macs.  Their operating system of choice tends to be Linux, an open source and fairly stable OS.  With this limited collection of users also comes a limited selection lighting software titles. In steps Cuelux with their latest announcement of the Cuelux software now available on Ubuntu, a distribution of Linux.

Cuelux is a DMX 512 lighting controller for intelligent lights, LED, dimmers, lasers and various other effects. The programme is platform-independent and available on Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows. The software is shipped with a USB-to-DMX adapter cable, compliant with the new DMX512-A standard.

Cuelux Lighting Control Avialable for 64bit on Windows 7

Visual Productions, a software lighting control company from the Netherlands has just announced that there lighting control software, Cuelux, is available for 64 bit computing on Windows 7 Operating Systems. Cuelux driver is available for all 64 bit versions of the Windows operating systems, XP, Vista and the new Windows 7.  At the time of Vista, 64 bit versions gained popularity; now with the release of Windows 7 roughly half of all Windows 7 systems sold are 64 bit. Visual Productions is one of only a hand full of Lighting Manufacturers to develop a 64 bit version of lighting software, a huge accomplishment.

What else is exciting about Cuelux is that not only is it available on windows, but runs nativity on Mac osX and flavors of Linux.  Cuelux is able to run on any of the platforms with the same functionality.
