iSquint Podcast: Episode 5 – Zeroing In On the ORB

I had a chance to spend the day with Peter Kirkup, the Product Manager for Zero 88 and the ORB lighting desk a few weeks ago. It was the same day as the #DCLighting Tweetup that Peter and I co-sponsored at Murphy’s Grand Irish Pub in Old Town Alexandria. Right before the hoards of fellow tweeters and lighting professionals showed up, I had a lovely pint with Peter and we talked a little about the ORB lighting desk.

Peter explained some of the markets that the ORB is designed for, as well as key aspects of the console. For example, its ability to speak both UK and American English. That one I think is hysterical and awesome at the same time!

I also learn a couple of things about my new friend from across the pond.
