Sapsis Rigging Introduces New Fall Protection Line

Press Releases are flying in fast and furious lately due to the USITT Stage Expo this week.  We just received word that Sapsis Rigging is set to release a new line of fall protection products for the entertainment industry.  From the Press Release:

sapsis_proplus_harness.jpgSapsis Rigging, Inc. is proud to announce The SRI ProPlus Fall Protection System, a new line of Fall Protection equipment  designed for technicians working at height in the entertainment industry.

Bill Sapsis, President of Sapsis Rigging, Inc. noted  “Historically, fall protection equipment was left to industrial supply companies that may not have an truly accurate understanding of what we, as entertainment technicians, require in order to do our jobs safely.  Add to that the confusion that has developed around the new ANSI Z359 standards and the need for clarity becomes even more important.  Sapsis Rigging, Inc., with it’s long history of safety consciousness, is uniquely qualified to take on the role of advocate for the entertainment industry.”

“We’ve made sure that the entire ProPlus line meets the new ANSI Z359.1-2007 standards.  In addition, all of our ProPlus harnesses come with a sub-pelvic strap.  This strap helps reduces the stress caused by orthostatic intolerance (suspension or harness trauma).  It should also be noted that all of our ProPlus harnesses are black.”

You can see the new ProPlus fall protection line at USITT in the Sapsis Rigging booth, # 1222.  For those unable to attend or wait till the show opens on thuresday, you can view the entire new line on the Sapsis Online Catalog at www.sapsis-rigging.com.
