The first day of the USITT Conference and Stage Expo in Cincinnati has come and gone. There is a feeling of the first day of school around Cincinnati with everyone pumped up with all the great products and services announced today. The conference sessions have been getting rave reviews and everyone is enjoy the nightlife around twon. Let’s not forget, there is still two more action packed days left in Cinny! Make sure to plan your days accordingly to ensure you do not miss anything and of course, have fun.

ETC (Electronic Theatre Controls) had a celebration at the factory in Middleton, WI this past friday. At the event, pizza was brought in to kick off the new Selador Series by ETC. To help illustrate the color difference 7 LED’s make over the traditional 3 color LED fixture, ETC asked, Which Pizza Would You Prefer?

Reading through some twitter feeds today, we saw a tweet about how there is a rumor spreading through twitter that the color magenta is not a color. In an online article on The Neurostimulation Technology Portal by Liz Elliott entitled “Magenta Ain’t A Colour“, Liz claims that the color magenta is not part of the visible color spectrum. This article on Ars Technica’s website by Chris Foresman begs to differ.
