We received a message today that tomorrow, March 26th, the House Committee on Education and Labor, lead by Chairman George Miller (D) Cal., will be holding a hearing on “The Economic and Employment Impact of the Arts and Music Industry” at 10am in the Rayburn office building in Washington, DC. The Committee is holding this hearing to examine how the economy is affecting jobs in the arts and music industries.
We are not quite sure of what may transpire from this hearing. We will follow this hearing as well as other Committee hearings that are planned to be held over the spring.
