Enttec was showing off one of their latest products at USITT this past week in Cincinnati, the MIDIwing interface. Enttec makes a line of wing panels such as the Shortcut, Playback and Programing wings. They are designed to work with Enttec’s computer lighting control software, LightFactory. recently, they developed an interface called MIDIwing which allows the three wing panels to be usable on any computer lighting control software such as the Hog2PC, audio controllers and media servers. The MIDIwing triggers MIDI notes and then translates that information to the control software.
Future plans are to have the MIDIwing able to translate signals for controllers such as the Hippotizer, SunLite, GrandMAonPC, Martin LightJockey and many more. Users can create their own custom key mapping using the MIDIwing software for almost any device.
