Production Resource Group, (PRG), has announced that it will acquire the business and assets of Australian-based Bytecraft Entertainment, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Staging Connections Group Limited. PRG chairman and CEO Jeremiah “Jere” Harris and Bytecraft Managing Director Stephen Found today jointly announced the acquisition, which will be completed by the end of March. Stephen Found will continue in a leadership role with the company.
Founded in 1984, with offices in Melbourne, Sydney, and Adelaide, Bytecraft Entertainment has a long history of technical excellence. The company specializes in supplying lighting, drapery, and Superscreen LED systems for large-scale events, as well as theater, television, theme parks, gaming venues and large outdoor sporting events. Bytecraft Entertainment’s clients include: the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Formula 1 Grand Prix, and concert tours for Lady Gaga, Bon Jovi, Linkin Park, Robbie Williams, Kiss, Cher, and Pink.
