ProPlex IQ Micro Gets v2.14 Firmware — ArtNet, RDM, and sACN Fixes Across the Board

By: Justin Lang on August 12, 2026

TMB’s ProPlex IQ Micro is a compact two-universe PoE-powered Ethernet-DMX node — the kind of thing that ends up in every rack and on every truss because it just works. Version 2.14 firmware is a maintenance release, but it’s not a trivial one: there are seven specific fixes targeting ArtNet behavior, RDM port indexing, and sACN multicast group handling when paired with a managed switch. If you’ve run into weird RDM discovery or multicast gremlins on your IQ Micro, this is the update you’ve been waiting for.

The most notable fix is the sACN and ArtNet Manager multicast group controller correction — a bug that prevented the unit from properly receiving sACN and Manager protocol data through managed switches. That’s the kind of issue that only surfaces in permanent installs with proper network infrastructure, which makes it all the more annoying when it does. Also fixed: a rare ArtPollReply controller fault that could, in unlucky circumstances, reboot the device mid-show. Nobody wants that.
