GLP has added a new batten to their outdoor lineup, the WildBar 16. If you have been following GLP over the past few years, you know they have been quietly building out a serious outdoor pixel rig ecosystem around the X5 Series and their iQ.Gamut color engine. The WildBar 16 slots right into that world — 16 x 40-watt RGBL LEDs, 10,300 lumens, IP65, and that patented identical pixel pitch GLP has been pushing. Chain these bars together and your pixel map lines up cleanly with no awkward gap between fixtures. If you are building large scale touring or festival rigs where pixel continuity across a long LED line matters, that is the detail worth paying attention to.

The fixture does motorized 200 degree tilt and a 4 to 44 degree zoom, so it can pull double duty as a tight curtain or a wide area wash depending on what the show needs. At 23 kg (50.7 lbs), it is manageable enough to deploy in quantity without your riggers hating you. iQ.Mesh wireless is on board for those situations where running data cable to every bar in a stadium rig is not your idea of a good time. Easy operation and smart control
Two clearly structured DMX modes – Basic and Pixel – allow for quick patching and easy re-patching. Supported protocols include DMX, RDM, ArtNet, sACN, and GLP iQ.Mesh for wireless networking. With the iQ.Service App, firmware updates, service functions and device configuration can be conveniently managed via smartphone.
