A lot of moving Fresnels are really just a profile with a Fresnel lens bolted on front. PROLIGHTS took a different approach with the Muse Fresnel70CT+. They built the optical path from scratch, drawing directly from their static LED Fresnel range. The result is authentic Fresnel behavior: single clean shadow, natural soft fall-off, the whole thing. On paper, a 1,000W 6-color LED source through a 200mm (8″) Fresnel lens delivering up to 29,000 lumens with a 10°– 60° motorized zoom. At 29.3 kg (64.6 lbs), it’s not featherweight, but that’s what you’re getting into with a proper large-format Fresnel mover.

The beam control package is comprehensive: four framing blades with individual angle adjustment and full module rotation, an indexed rotating ovalizer, onboard frost and iris, plus a 5-filter color wheel to extend beyond the native LED gamut. Light quality numbers are serious. CRI up to 99, R9 up to 97, TLCI up to 97. It’s legit for broadcast and key light work, not just stage wash. Connectivity covers the full stack: DMX, RDM, Art-Net, sACN, and built-in LumenRadio CRMX. The EtherFlow Ethernet pass-through switch is a useful detail for install work, keeping the network alive even when the fixture is unpowered. Absolute pan and tilt encoders mean stationary reset — no need to sweep to home, which matters when you’re rigged inside a tight set or over talent.

It pairs directly with the Muse Profile70CT+, sharing Spektra OS color management so your Fresnel and profile sides of the rig are talking the same color language.
