Stagerack is a browser-based rack layout tool aimed squarely at touring and live event production. The pitch is straightforward: drag gear into a rack, get front, rear, and side views, add labels and color coding, and export a PDF project report to send to your A/V provider. No Visio, no Excel rack diagrams, no CAD software required.
The device library is the main selling point — 7,341 devices across audio, lighting, video, and network gear as of late August 2026, all hand-redrawn in-house for visual consistency rather than sourced from manufacturer PDFs of varying quality. Specs are pulled from official datasheets. For gear that’s not in the library yet, an AI tool can browse the web and pull specs automatically. The database is publicly browsable at stagerack.com/database if you want to check coverage before signing up.
The builder runs in the browser on desktop (no mobile support) and you can try it without an account via a sandbox demo on the homepage. Key features: front/rear/side views, custom patch panels, per-device names/colors/groups, and PDF export. A Business tier with custom branding, unlimited projects, and real-time collaboration is in the works for later in 2026.
The sandbox demo is worth a look before committing — no account required. Learn more about Stagerack by visiting stagerack.com.
