Luminex has pushed GigaCore firmware v1.9.2 — another maintenance release following v1.9.1 from last month. No new features, just improvements and bug fixes. All users are advised to update for best performance. The O26-I specific fixes are the most significant here: false temperature warnings on QSFP modules and an IGMP querier bug that could cause long multicast rejoin delays in IGMPv3 mode are both resolved.

Improvements

• SFP port tuning improved for specific SFP modules on select GigaCore models
• mDNS traffic over IPv6 is no longer sent to the CPU on ports outside the management group — previously, IPv6 mDNS in other groups could cause elevated CPU load

Bug Fixes

• GigaCore O26-I: Fixed false high-temperature warnings triggered on certain QSFP modules
• GigaCore O26-I: Fixed an incorrect default max response time when IGMP querier was forced in IGMPv3 mode — this could result in multicast streams rejoining after a long delay. Not an issue in IGMPv2 (the default)
