Cameo is expanding its outdoor-rated lineup with ZIYA, a four-fixture LED zoom PAR series that gives rental houses two distinct optical approaches under one IP65 platform.
The split personality here is the interesting bit: RGBL multi-lens versions for the punch-and-zoom crowd, and RGBALC COB variants with Fresnel optics for the “make it look like real light” applications. Rather than trying to make one fixture do everything adequately, Cameo’s betting that shops want purpose-built tools that still share rigging hardware and case inventory.
The COB models are clearly chasing theater and broadcast work with CRI figures hitting 92 at 3200K and 97 at 5600K — numbers that actually mean something when a camera’s involved. The RGBL versions trade that color accuracy for a wider 5° to 57° zoom range and the kind of output that reads on festival stages. All four fixtures get Cameo’s SPIN16 quick-rigging system and that angled rear housing that anyone who’s ever tried to plug in a fixture while it’s trussed overhead will appreciate.
Notably absent from the announcement: pricing and actual weight specs. The October 2026 availability date gives Cameo plenty of runway, but rental houses planning fleet purchases will want those numbers sooner rather than later.
More from Cameo:
**RGBL Models (ZIYA 200 / ZIYA 400)**
The ZIYA 200 and ZIYA 400 models use 4 × 60 W (3,200 lm) and 7 × 60 W RGBL LEDs (6,200 lm) respectively. With a zoom range of 5° to 49° for the ZIYA 200 and 5° to 57° for the ZIYA 400, both models can be used flexibly for everything from narrow beams to wide surface effects. The motorized silent zoom is vibration-free and allows smooth transitions between focused accent lighting and wide-angle lighting effects. Both models achieve a CRI of 83 at 3,200 K and 80 at 5,600 K.
COB Models (ZIYA 200 COB / ZIYA 400 COB)
The combination of RGBALC-COB LED technology and Fresnel optics creates homogeneous light distribution without hotspots, making it particularly suitable for applications where uniform illumination, nuanced colors and white tones are required. The ZIYA 200 COB (5,600 lm) offers a zoom range of 13° to 49°, while the zoom range of the ZIYA 400 COB (9,800 lm) is 13° to 54°. High CRI values (92 at 3,200 K / 97 at 5,600 K) extend the range of applications for the COB versions beyond live and event productions, particularly towards theatre, TV and broadcasting.
Shared Features
All four ZIYA models feature robust IP65 housings for outdoor and touring applications. Various fan modes allow for application-specific operation, while the bevelled rear of the housing provides easy access to the connections, even when rigged. The integrated, patented SPIN16® system ensures fast and flexible rigging. Cameo also offers matching flight cases for all models, as well as barndoors with eight individually adjustable blades.
