This is just a friendly reminder to all the students out there.  The Student Design Competition is under way.  If you haven’t heard about it, I encourage you to visit the Student Design Competition page and read all about it! In a nut shell, you design a show with Vectorworks and Lightwright.  In the end, the winner of the competition walks away with a Professional License of Vectorworks® 2011 with Renderworks®, a personal license of Lightwright™ 5, and a single license of Field Templates SoftSymbols V3. Have I got your attention yet?

There is still plenty of time to work on your design.  Entry into the competition ends on April 15th, 2011 with the winner being announced on May 6th, 2011.  Be mindful of your time and don’t let it slip away.  February will be over quicker then you realize. Then it is off to Charlotte for USITT in early March, then Spring Break and Finals… Before you know it, it will be summer and the deadline to enter will be long gone.
